Fundraise for the Saving Lives Helipad Appeal

Bingham Methodist Church chq presentationThere are lots of ways you can raise funds for the Saving Lives Helipad Appeal and help us reach our £3 million target. Here are just a few ideas to get you started, but feel free to be as inventive as you like!

Support an event
Take a look at our Events page to find out what’s on in your local area. Both Nottingham Hospitals Charity and our supporters frequently organise a wide range of events, from cycle rides and marathons to prize draws and pamper evenings.

Depending on the type of event, you could show your support by simply buying a ticket and going along on the day, donating to someone who’s already taking part – or signing up to have a go yourself.

Set up a fundraising activity

A fundraising activity is a great way of raising funds from something you and your friends enjoy doing. The opportunities really are endless – from holding a cake sale, curry night or barbecue to organising a quiz night, coffee morning or car boot sale.

If you’re short on time, you could consider a simpler option. This might be a sponsored dress-down (or fancy dress) day at work, a ‘guess the name’ style prize draw, or just asking your workplace to display a collecting tin and poster in a public area.

Flexible fundraising challenges

Your challenge can be as big or as little as you like! Ideas for smaller challenges include a sponsored swim, silence or head shave, whilst a bigger challenge might be a tandem skydive, marathon run, London to Paris bike ride or a trek through the Himalayas.

If you’re interested in taking on a bigger challenge, make sure you visit our Events page as you may be able to sign up to an event that’s already been arranged.

We’re here to help – so tell us your plans!
